WIN Energy REMC and Hoosier Energy are happy  to help member-consumers purchase new Electric Outdoor Equipment! Apply for a rebate of 50% of the cost of electric equipment, up to $50. Member-consumers can purchase outdoor equipment in store or online and must submit proof of purchase to WIN Energy REMC.  Electric outdoor equipment that qualifies for the rebate include corded or battery powered equipment in the following categories:  Push or self-propelled lawnmower, string trimmer, leaf blower, chainsaw, snowblower, roto-tiller, or pressure washer. 

 To Qualify:

  • Primary address must be identified on application.

  • Rebate does not apply to equipment combo packs.

  • Equipment must be purchased new; reconditioned or refurbished equipment is not eligible.

  • Equipment must have a minimum one year warranty.

  • One rebate per member account.

  • Lawnmowers must have a minimum of 36 volts.

  • Submission for rebates must be within 90 days of purchase date in 2023.

  • One rebate per member account.
