WIN Energy REMC is excited to offer a new opportunity to local organizations, our WIN for the Community Program! As your local electric cooperative, we operate on seven cooperative principles, one being Concern for Community. We love to serve our local communities, not just with our daily work, but volunteering. With this program, non-profit, non-political organizations in our service territory, rural Clay, Gibson, Greene, Knox, Pike, Posey, Sullivan, and Vigo counties, have the opportunity to request volunteer assistance from the WIN Energy REMC team. Approximately 5-10 employees will provide labor, not supplies or equipment, for the project requested. Projects may include but are not limited to painting, landscaping, cleaning, organizing, packing lunches, etc.
WIN for the Community applications will be accepted year-round. One applicant will be selected per quarter based on community impact and employee availability. Please note, applications must be completed in full. Incomplete applications will not be considered.
