2-1-1 is a free and confidential service that provides Hoosiers with help and answers from thousands of health and human service agencies and resources in their local communities
211 provides additional help with:

- Shelter
- Employment
- Counseling
- Suicide prevention
- Parenting

Low Income Home Energy Assistance Program (LIHEAP)
- LIHEAP is a federal program that provides financial assistance to help qualifying low-income households with energy costs.
- Funds are distributed through local Community Action Agencies (CAAs).
- Members who have applied for or are receiving LIHEAP heating assistance are protected from disconnection between December 1 and March 15.
- The cooperative may not terminate residential electric service on any day for which the National Weather Service has forecast, within the preceding 48 hours, a heat index of at least 95 degrees Fahrenheit for the customer’s service area, for any customer who is eligible for and has applied for LIHEAP assistance .
